Job Postings
Guidelines for posting on the Listserv are: - Only Administrative Management, professional job openings available in the AAP member's Department(s) and/or affiliate sites will be allowed.
- The AAP member will be required to e-mail the President-Elect [ Tony Ansley ) with the posting request similar to the example file linked below. Once the request has been reviewed and approved, the President-elect will send the posting out to the AAP listserv for the member.
- Non-AAP members (recruiters/head hunters) may be allowed to post jobs on the listserv by providing AAP with an unrestricted educational grant of no less than $500 for a one time opportunity to post an advertisement. Non-AAP members (recruiters/head hunters) will be directed to the President-elect who will inform them of the guidelines, provided them with the advertisement format, accept the advertisement and grant funding/check, and finally place the ad on the listserv after receipt of the grant funding/check.
- If a member of the AAP listserv posts a job without authorization, the President-elect will inform them in writing of the infraction and let them know they will be removed from listserv in the event of a second occurrence. These guidelines will be sent out to the listserv on a quarterly basis as a reminder to AAP members and will be posted on the AAP web site.
- The President-elect makes the final decision on allowing an advertising request to be posted. He/she should seek consultation from the AAP board if there is any doubt that maybe a specific situation and/or request does not warrant approval.
